Our Story
Welcome to Brittle Heaven & More!
I began making and selling our brittle at local farmer's markets in 2019. The recipe has been in our family for decades, and it's always been a favorite among family and friends, especially at Christmastime.
After the encouragement I received from the customers at the farmer's market, family and friends, I decided to expand into a full-fledged business, and Brittle Heaven & More was born.
The secret recipe for our brittle was passed down to me by my mother, Sadie. We cooked the brittle together from the time I was a teenager until she passed in 2003.
As a wedding gift in 1947, my mother received a hand-painted plate from a friend depicting her likeness in her favorite color, bright red. To honor Sadie and her help creating this business, she is featured in our logo, modeled after her wedding gift.
